Go Back to the Beginning

 “In the beginning God created” (Genesis 1:1a).


As I sat in my car, I found myself being sad. I have no reason to be sad, and I was thinking that I needed prayer to help me through that moment. I picked up my Bible, and I asked God what He had to say to me today. I recalled His beauty and His creativity, and I heard, “Go back to the beginning.”

 

When God created everything within 6 days, sadness was no where to be found. It was not on His agenda or in the plans that He has for us. He created light and life; even the darkness was a place of rest.

 

“Then God said, ‘Let there be’”

(Genesis 1:3a NKJV).

 

“The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences” (Proverbs 18:21 NLT).

 

What are you saying? What are you allowing to be? I didn’t call anyone on my contact list within my phone. I called God. He is speaking to me in this moment and producing light in a place that I gave a testimony on recently.

 

“Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and THERE WAS LIGHT”

 (Genesis 1:3a NKJV).

 

“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness’”

 (Genesis 1:26a NKJV).

 

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”

 (Philippians 2:5 KJV).

 

God has given you both dominion and strategy. 

 

“Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]”

 (Philippians 4:8 AMP).

 

Some versions of Philippians 4:8 use the word meditate in place of the word think. To meditate is to think deeply. What are you thinking deeply about? Does it align with God’s original plan of how we are to think? If not, go back to the beginning. Have peace.

 

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope’” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).

 

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19 KJV).

 

Lord, I thank you that your word is more powerful than any two-edged sword and that it cuts between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow, exposing all. Intervene concerning me, Lord. By your Spirit, I pray for refreshing, strength, the grace to forgive myself as I forgive others, and to walk in Nehemiah 8:10. Lord, create new and holy neural pathways concerning the way that I think, receive information, remember, and process information. Eliminate all triggers that the enemy created and close every door that allowed him to have a legal right into my life and lineage. Burn at the root everything that is not like you in my life. I receive peace, divine strategy/wisdom, increased endurance/insight, and the joy of the Lord. In Jesus name, amen.

    Amen. We have absolutely no reason to ever be Sad. God has truly blessed us all according to His richness and glory.

I’m not obsessed, but I’ve been thinking about marriage a lot more lately. As a Christian, I’ve learned where I went wrong concerning my standards of dating before I knew Jesus. I have been looking at the profile pages of exes to see if, perhaps, I was missing something. I’m happy to report that I am not. I more so found myself thanking God for what He didn’t allow. Turn Aside and See

  “And Moses said, ‘I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.’ When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush.” (Exodus 3:3-4a)   Moses was born into both chaos and love. I Forgot About Grace

  “He answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So, I will celebrate my weakness, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.”   (2 Corinthians 12:9-10 TPT) Today I read a devotional, and it reminded me that I forgot about grace.   God paved the way for my present and my future with the prayers that He placed into my heart many years ago. Allow God to Make You Great: Perfecting Imperfections

Sometimes the grace that covers your life is the call that God has placed on it. He has invested too much into you to allow you to die in your sin. We are like a treasure chest to God. Some people may look at us and think that we are worthless, but the value of who God says we are is locked up on the inside of us awaiting the season to be revealed. I have Chosen You: Distractions and Distress are not Your Portion

War For Your Destiny!

Not only is there a war for your destiny, but YOU have to war for your destiny. Disadvantages and hardships came against Moses when he was a baby because of the size of his purpose. The level that the devil fights you gives an indication of the multitude that God wants to use you. God has placed such awesomeness on the inside of you that you don’t even know about. You are a threat to the devil’s kingdom.   He wants you to not know who you really are. He wants you to believe that you are not special. Your destiny is why you go through so much. I met a young girl today that blowed me away with her talent. She could not only sing, but she could also play the piano. What impressed me most about this young girl is that she talked about grace. This let me know that she knew something about God. Where I work, I hear about God, but not his grace. Worship until I pass out!

Stop questing God about what is taking him so long to bless you and stop comparing you’re “come up” to how the people of the world are operating.   God reigns on the just as well as the unjust (Matthew 5:45). Your” hard time” is meant to glorify your father in heaven! Let them look down on you, let them talk about you because guess what, God has some C4 (dunamis power, dynamite) ready that he is about to release on your behalf. You will walk in your destiny, but it will be in God’s timing. God is going to use you in the position that he will himself create for you, but first he has to train you to perform well on the Job. Keep Your Lamp Filled
