Go Back to the Beginning

 “In the beginning God created” (Genesis 1:1a).


As I sat in my car, I found myself being sad. I have no reason to be sad, and I was thinking that I needed prayer to help me through that moment. I picked up my Bible, and I asked God what He had to say to me today. I recalled His beauty and His creativity, and I heard, “Go back to the beginning.”

 

When God created everything within 6 days, sadness was no where to be found. It was not on His agenda or in the plans that He has for us. He created light and life; even the darkness was a place of rest.

 

“Then God said, ‘Let there be’”

(Genesis 1:3a NKJV).

 

“The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences” (Proverbs 18:21 NLT).

 

What are you saying? What are you allowing to be? I didn’t call anyone on my contact list within my phone. I called God. He is speaking to me in this moment and producing light in a place that I gave a testimony on recently.

 

“Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and THERE WAS LIGHT”

 (Genesis 1:3a NKJV).

 

“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness’”

 (Genesis 1:26a NKJV).

 

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”

 (Philippians 2:5 KJV).

 

God has given you both dominion and strategy. 

 

“Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]”

 (Philippians 4:8 AMP).

 

Some versions of Philippians 4:8 use the word meditate in place of the word think. To meditate is to think deeply. What are you thinking deeply about? Does it align with God’s original plan of how we are to think? If not, go back to the beginning. Have peace.

 

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope’” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).

 

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19 KJV).

 

Lord, I thank you that your word is more powerful than any two-edged sword and that it cuts between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow, exposing all. Intervene concerning me, Lord. By your Spirit, I pray for refreshing, strength, the grace to forgive myself as I forgive others, and to walk in Nehemiah 8:10. Lord, create new and holy neural pathways concerning the way that I think, receive information, remember, and process information. Eliminate all triggers that the enemy created and close every door that allowed him to have a legal right into my life and lineage. Burn at the root everything that is not like you in my life. I receive peace, divine strategy/wisdom, increased endurance/insight, and the joy of the Lord. In Jesus name, amen.

    Amen. We have absolutely no reason to ever be Sad. God has truly blessed us all according to His richness and glory.

Have you ever had a childhood item that you loved? That thing may be worn, dirty, and falling apart, but you hold on to it because of sentimental value such as the memories attached to it . That item could be anything. It could be cloths, a toy, or even a picture. In many of our lives the old sentimental thing that we hold on to is our sin. We attach unhealthy sentimental values it. Many of these sins originated in our childhood so we hold on to it and in most cases, hope that no one ever sees it.   God paved the way for my present and my future with the prayers that He placed into my heart many years ago. I didn’t know what new challenges I would have to overcome or what would be required of me as I uttered the sentiments of my heart into His ears. Need Prayer?

“But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail”   (Luke 22:32a). For a time, I didn’t ask people for prayer . I became protective of ‘my stuff,’ and I backed away from needing people because I had me-the army of one. I felt alone, misunderstood; all the things that I wanted no one to know about because  I got me . This mindset created offense and functional depression. I backed away so that no one would see it; no one knew me enough to recognize what it looked like.  “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat” (Luke 22:32b).   What does it look like when you are being sifted? Where is your Heart

God taught David how to fight. He fought a lot of personal battles before he was strong enough to fight the battles that we know him for today. David had to know how to depend on God in private before he could publicly show us how to depend on Him. David had to fight other people’s opinion of him even up until the moment that he was anointed to be king. Nobody looked at little David and saw a king. When they looked at him, they saw the youngest of 8 sons. They saw a shepard and they might have even seen a punk. I wonder if David’s brothers even knew that he was about that life. The Anointing of God Destroys the Yoke

“The anointing of God destroys the yoke.” (Isaiah 10:27) A yoke is a life center, much like a nucleus. It holds the nutrients of what something needs to survive. A yoke can be a choke-hold that weighs a person down like a slave who is forced to work against anything that will set them free. It can be viewed as a symbol of oppression, forced submission, and defeat.  The anointing of God is His supernatural power working through you by way of the Holy Spirit to do the seemingly impossible.
