I can do anything better than you!

Should Christians be so completive against one another? I mean God loves every single one of us and has given each of us gifts that we can use for his glory, so why are we so completive? It is important to remember that each of us has strengths and weakness and it is also important to remember that God did not only anoint you to perform in your area ministry. If you sing, you are not the only one that God gave that talent to; If you preach, you are not the only one that God gave that gift to; if your write, guess what, you are not the only one that has that talent either. Don’t allow any “beef”, jealousy, or competiveness get in the way of what God is trying to do in your life and in the lives of others. If you’re not the best at something, that does not mean that you should be jealous of someone that is. Ask yourself, if you work hard at honing your craft, or if that is the gift that God is wanting you to use at this time. Ask God what your area of ministry is and seek him o

Offended for what?

I used to be just like you. I stayed offended about something. I was offended because someone said something the wrong way, or I was offended because I felt excluded from certain groups, I was even offended by the bond that certain people had my church. I spent a lot of time crying, being sad, and allowing jealousy to drive my decisions and emotions up a wall. I still battle this demon in many areas of my life. Yes, I called being offended a demon. It is a demon just like any other demon. It can ruin your life and relationships. I almost allowed the fact that I was offended cause me to leave my church.   The crazy thing about all of this is that, the people that were “offending” me, had no idea that I was harboring the anger, jealousy, and offenses that I was. Sometimes we have to step back and ask ourselves if it is us that needs to reevaluate the way that we are seeing things. The devil can use these false feelings to make you miss out on your blessing. You could be blessed

I NEED HIM!

I used to spend so much time regretting the past. I regretted the things that I did, the people that I let in my life and the people that I hurt. If I have ever hurt any of you I am truly sorry. It is so easy to hold on to things that seem simple to one person but can be life altering to another. I had to learn to forgive. I am still learning to forgive. As much as I wish I could change certain events in life they made me who I am. Strangely enough, every time my heart was broken it drew me closer to God. This is important because during these times I learned about who he was. I did not understand it then and I even back slide but I understand now. God was always there to dry every tear and heal every heart break. I took him for granted on many occasions but that set up has done nothing but make me cling to him more now. I do not always get it right, but I never want to go back to places that he has brought me from. You began to understand how far he has brought you when you truly le

What will your testimony be?

While Jesus was going about doing the work of the father, the disciples urged him to eat; Jesus’ reply was “I have food that you know not of”. What do you consider to be your bread of life? Who and what are you trusting in? Can it be said about you that you are going about your father’s business. What are you consuming today child of God? Is it anger? Disappointment? Push your plate away and consume the food that the father has prepared for you to eat! Spending time with the father will give you all the nourishment that you need to go on with day. Stop drowning your troubles in food and wine. Again I ask, what are you consuming today? Is the lust of the flesh? Or the things you watch on TV? It is time to check your diet child of God! Will you be found full and gluttonous from the world or will you be found full from the word of God? What will your testimony be? Recommended Reading John 4: 27-38
