You are still my child!

You are still daddy’s little girl or guy child of God. I’m here to tell you that God loves you and that you are not a mistake. Do not define your heavenly father by man’s standards; when you do, you limit Him. Forget about what that man who you call dad or that woman that you call mom did to you. God has called you to be a sign to the nations as an example of the love that He has. Don’t be surprised, yes I said that He has called you! In all of your mess and in all your bitterness, you are still called. God will give you the words to speak and the strength that you will need for your journey. Do not worry about what “they” say about you, listen to what God says. God says that you are the head and not the tail. God says that you will be above and not beneath. God says that He has plans to prosper and not to harm you, to bring you to an expected end. God says that with Him all things are possible. God says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God says that you are his workmanship; nothing will separate you from his love. God has begun a great work in you and he will bring in to completion. Child of God your trip through the wilderness is preparing you to lead others to freedom. Your pain is not in vain! He is preparing you!

Child of God you are good enough; you are handsome enough, you are beautiful enough and you are smart enough to do and become everything that God is calling you to do.

Listen to your heavenly father today child of God! He is calling you and he loves you!

"For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict" ( Luke 21:15).

"You are the head and not the tail, you will be above and not beneath" (Deuteronomy 28:13).

"God has plans to prosper and not to harm you, to bring you to an expected end" (Jeremiah 29:11).

"With God all things are possible" (Luke 1:37).

"You are fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14).

"You are God's workmanship" (Ephesians 2:10).

"Nothing will separate you from Gods love" (Romans 8:38).

"God has begun a great work in you and he will bring in to completion" (Philliapns1:6).

CHALLENGE: I challenge you to walk around with the word of God today. Write down bible verses that he gives you and put them in your pocket or your purse. Look at them through the day.

“Be still, and know that I am God”- Psalm 46:10a KJV Today as I was driving to work, anxious, knowing that I needed Jesus, I saw “In God I trust”, and “ Be still and know” on two separate cars, one after the other. I needed both things, and that is what I am clinging to. The past can make you feel as if you are in a track meet running from it. “But [like a boxer] I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached [the gospel] to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified [as unfit for service]” (1 Corinthians 9:27 AMP). If you need to be told that you did a good job, “You did a good job. You gave, and you submitted to man. You showed up and did what they asked. The Process of Faithing It: Trusting Jesus with Your Faith

“Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction” (Mark 5:34 NKJV). Can you imagine Jesus in a crowd? Everyone has a need, but His target in that moment is to go and build the faith of a little girl’s family at the request of her father because they think that she will die. The father is scared, but Jesus was on the way until He felt something. This feeling was different, but powerful. “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. “But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail” (Luke 22:32a). For a time, I didn’t ask people for prayer . I became protective of ‘my stuff,’ and I backed away from needing people because I had me-the army of one. I felt alone, misunderstood; all the things that I wanted no one to know about because I got me . This mindset created offense and functional depression. I backed away so that no one would see it; no one knew me enough to recognize what it looked like. “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat” (Luke 22:32b). What does it look like when you are being sifted? The sifting starts early in life and can be a continuous pattern if the devil feels like his tactics are working against you. The Importance of Knowing How to Pray

No matter what mental state you are in, where you are in life, or who you have around you, prayer will always be the heartbeat of your survival. You need to know how to pray during both the mountain top experiences and the valley experiences. If no one ever taught me anything, I learned how to express myself to God through prayer. Prayer isn’t always about asking God for things, but you can actually sit with Him and tell Him how you feel. There have been moments in my life where I felt like the Lord was the only one that I could talk to about what was going on in my life. You have to get into a place where you begin to communicate with God as you would with anyone else. There are times when I speak out loud to God because I know that He is around me. God’s presence is peace, it changes the atmosphere, and it will shift your entire mood. Once you’ve talked to the Father, you know that everything will be ok just because He is around you.
