The Importance of Knowing How to Pray

No matter what mental state you are in, where you are in life, or who you have around you, prayer will always be the heartbeat of your survival. You need to know how to pray during both the mountain top experiences and the valley experiences. If no one ever taught me anything, I learned how to express myself to God through prayer. Prayer isn’t always about asking God for things, but you can actually sit with Him and tell Him how you feel. There have been moments in my life where I felt like the Lord was the only one that I could talk to about what was going on in my life. You have to get into a place where you begin to communicate with God as you would with anyone else. There are times when I speak out loud to God because I know that He is around me.

God’s presence is peace,it changes the atmosphere, and it will shift your entire mood. Once you’ve talked to the Father, you know that everything will be ok just because He is around you. I pray that for anyone that needs it. I pray that you feel God’s presence. You need to know that He can intervene into any situation that you may be facing and you need to know that He can enter any room that He wants to. You can experience God when you are in a crowded room or when you are alone. He sees everything about you and He is the best person to tell your needs to.

Sometimes my need is just to talk. I need to know that God hears me and I need to know that He is around. Please know that God is around and that He has a season for everything and everyone that He created. I pray that you know that you are in His hand and that no one can pluck you out of it.

Pray even when you feel as if nothing is happening. It’s not about your feelings, but it’s about your faith. Do you believe God? Do you trust that He will be all that He says He is in your life? Walk in your belief in Jesus and know that He is faithful and that He will never fail.

I pray that you are encouraged in the Lord. I pray that your faith will increase like never before and I pray that you see God. There are times when God revealed Himself to His servants and I pray that He does the same for you. I pray that you fall in love with and learn to be content with just His presence. God can give you the world, but nothing compares to His presence. I pray against anything that may be distracting you and I pray that you hear God’s voice like never before. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Don’t just let your prayer life be about asking God for things, but actually seek His face and His presence.

Please know that God has not forgotten about you or your needs, but also know that He wants to give you more of Himself in addition to providing you with anything that you may be lacking.

I’m not obsessed, but I’ve been thinking about marriage a lot more lately. As a Christian, I’ve learned where I went wrong concerning my standards of dating before I knew Jesus. Keep Your Lamp Filled

“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. I became protective of ‘my stuff,’ and I backed away from needing people because I had me-the army of one. The Process of Faithing It: Trusting Jesus with Your Faith

“Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction” (Mark 5:34 NKJV). Can you imagine Jesus in a crowd? Everyone has a need, but His target in that moment is to go and build the faith of a little girl’s family at the request of her father because they think that she will die. The father is scared, but Jesus was on the way until He felt something. This feeling was different, but powerful. It Is Well: Faith Through Trigeminal Neuralgia

God paved the way for my present and my future with the prayers that He placed into my heart many years ago. I didn’t know what new challenges I would have to overcome or what would be required of me as I uttered the sentiments of my heart into His ears. All I knew was that I wanted to serve Him.
