The Importance of Knowing How to Pray

No matter what mental state you are in, where you are in life, or who you have around you, prayer will always be the heartbeat of your survival. You need to know how to pray during both the mountain top experiences and the valley experiences. If no one ever taught me anything, I learned how to express myself to God through prayer. Prayer isn’t always about asking God for things, but you can actually sit with Him and tell Him how you feel. There have been moments in my life where I felt like the Lord was the only one that I could talk to about what was going on in my life. You have to get into a place where you begin to communicate with God as you would with anyone else. There are times when I speak out loud to God because I know that He is around me.

God’s presence is peace,it changes the atmosphere, and it will shift your entire mood. Once you’ve talked to the Father, you know that everything will be ok just because He is around you. I pray that for anyone that needs it. I pray that you feel God’s presence. You need to know that He can intervene into any situation that you may be facing and you need to know that He can enter any room that He wants to. You can experience God when you are in a crowded room or when you are alone. He sees everything about you and He is the best person to tell your needs to.

Sometimes my need is just to talk. I need to know that God hears me and I need to know that He is around. Please know that God is around and that He has a season for everything and everyone that He created. I pray that you know that you are in His hand and that no one can pluck you out of it.

Pray even when you feel as if nothing is happening. It’s not about your feelings, but it’s about your faith. Do you believe God? Do you trust that He will be all that He says He is in your life? Walk in your belief in Jesus and know that He is faithful and that He will never fail.

I pray that you are encouraged in the Lord. I pray that your faith will increase like never before and I pray that you see God. There are times when God revealed Himself to His servants and I pray that He does the same for you. I pray that you fall in love with and learn to be content with just His presence. God can give you the world, but nothing compares to His presence. I pray against anything that may be distracting you and I pray that you hear God’s voice like never before. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Don’t just let your prayer life be about asking God for things, but actually seek His face and His presence.

Please know that God has not forgotten about you or your needs, but also know that He wants to give you more of Himself in addition to providing you with anything that you may be lacking.

Why Are You Here?

During an encounter that I had with a young person recently, I told them that things were difficult for them because there were some things that they would need to do that had never been done before. The analogy that I used to help this person understand what I was saying to them was that of a wilderness full of trees. I told this young person that they would be the first one to cut down the trees in that wilderness to create a smooth path for those coming behind them. The same is true for many of us. There are large trees that we must cut down so that those coming behind us won’t have to fight as hard as we are fighting, and they will not stumble because we are destroying everything at the root that is attempting to block us. The task of doing this may seem difficult but the testimony is worth it. You have to be able to identify the things that have hindered individuals in your lineage, know what the signs of those things are in your own life, and then eliminate it. ...

Preparation in Waiting

One thing that I have learned about God over the years is that his plan for my life is so much greater than my own. I have also learned that his vision can be more than I can bear at times because I have a tendency to try to make the parts that he has revealed to me come to pass on my own. People have a tendency of telling me that I am nice. Some people say that I am too nice and other people attempt to take advantage of my niceness and mistake it for weakness. HOPE

I believe that God sends us prophecies to offer us hope. I received my first prophecies around the age of 16. I was pretty aware of how God used his people to speak into the lives of others, but I would always hide at church when God started talking. I used to be afraid of people who had that gift because I was scared that they would know what I was thinking. Many times, although our thoughts are uncomfortable, when God lets you know that HE SEES YOU, there is a comfort in that. Wow, God sees me. Waiting for the Promise vs. Moving in Impatience
