Season of Silence/Cut off time

If God were to tell you to cut off all of your friends, church family and people you love would you be able to do it? The time of silencing is a very important one as a Christian. It is a time of getting out of yourself and being able to hear the voice of God. As a Christian living in this world, you have to know who you are and you have to know whose you are. In order to find that out you have to tell the world around you to shut up. When you cut people off, it does not mean that you don’t love or care for them. It could mean that it is time for you to move on with your life, it could also mean that that person is a hindrance to your relationship with God. We have to learn how to listen to the voice of God even when it hurts. It hurts us to let people that we love or have known for a long time go, but what is more important to you, your relationship with them or your relationship with God? You say you love God, so what are you willing to release in your life so that you can have/see more of him? God loves you so much that he wants you all to himself. God desires to use you in the lives of his people, but you cannot be a crutch to someone that he is sending you to. The same is true for people that he sends to you, they cannot be a crutch. You serve God, not man. Seek God about the people that you surround yourself with. Pray for God relationships in your life and don’t get offended when people are moved or removed from your life. God has used them to teach you about him and will do the same thing with you in order to allow someone else to see how he has moved on your behalf.

Lord I pray to truly release my life and relationships to you. Please forgive me for my offenses and for being offended. Please help me to release those in my life who you are trying to move and help me to accept the seasons you have for my life. I love you lord and I thank you for loving me, In Jesus name, Amen.

“Be still, and know that I am God”- Psalm 46:10a KJV Today as I was driving to work, anxious, knowing that I needed Jesus, I saw “In God I trust”, and “ Be still and know” on two separate cars, one after the other. You cannot tell everybody your dreams because your dreams might be bigger than their expectation of you. You will do things for God that man did not see coming. Learn to lean on the opinions of Jesus instead of allowing yourself to become esteemed by the opinions of man. Those folks do not know you or the potential that God has placed on the inside of you. Waiting for the Promise vs. Moving in Impatience

Everyone has a need, but His target in that moment is to go and build the faith of a little girl’s family at the request of her father because they think that she will die. The father is scared, but Jesus was on the way until He felt something. This feeling was different, but powerful. I’m not obsessed, but I’ve been thinking about marriage a lot more lately. As a Christian, I’ve learned where I went wrong concerning my standards of dating before I knew Jesus. I have been looking at the profile pages of exes to see if, perhaps, I was missing something. I’m happy to report that I am not. I more so found myself thanking God for what He didn’t allow. Even though I’m thankful for every failed relationship, I find myself encountering the hurt that still remains as a result of my insecurities. There is so much that I have not let go of. In that moment, I was upset with myself and wondered how, after working so hard, I managed to still be unsuccessful. Even though I was one class away from earning a degree, I was standing at the tail end of a 6- year journey that should have only taken 4 years. I had to re-face the fact that I had failed many previous classes and I had also almost gotten myself placed on academic suspension due to bad grades, but by the grace of God, the computer somehow skipped my name, and I never received a notification that I would not be able to resume classes.
