Ground Zero

You are the dirt, God is the contractor.

You used to be a house but God had to tear down the property and evict the previous owners. You won’t stay dirt forever though. God desires to do something new with you and in order for him to do that, he had to tear you down. You are a mansion not a shack! God sees so much potential in what the world saw so little value in, so the old friends (furniture) relationships (walls) and circumstances had to go. You are at ground zero and there is a lot of drilling taking place in your life. God is drilling up that old foundation, dirt and concrete so that you can now be fertile ground, good soil fit for producing fruit.

Every heart ach, every broken promise, every disappointment and every hurtful word now has a purpose. God is saying to you, although you may sow in weeping, you will reap with shouts of joy (psalm 126:5). God is creating a new foundation for you. He is sending builders to motivate and sculpt you to how he wants you to be. God has drawn up so many plans for your life. He wants to show you the blue prints, but the construction is taking place through faith. He is doing such a great work in you that you wouldn't believe it if you saw it.

Pastors and mentors are sent to build up your confidence. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). God is planting his word in and watering you daily. Stay in the word! Get to know the One that is over the total construction of your life.

God is building you up so that you will be able to stand on your own. Don’t fret when mentors, leaders and friends leave. They have done their job and are not meant to be a crutch in your life.

You listen to God!

You hear what he is saying!

Stop depending on others to speak to God on your behalf. He who has begun a good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6).

Stop trying to rebuild your house in the very neighborhood that God is moving you out of ! God has uprooted you to the best community there is. Sure construction may be slow and sure the rain may seem to halt progress, but God has not given up on the project.

Child of God, you are bought and paid for with a price! Stop trying to sell yourself off to new owners because you think that God has left you. Look around you. Don’t you see the walls God is building up around you? Faith is the cure and the answer child of God.

God paved the way for my present and my future with the prayers that He placed into my heart many years ago. Be A Big Mouth!

“ Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?”(John 4:29 KJV). I don’t know the name of the Samaritan woman that the Lord meant at the well, but she is one of my favorite people in the Bible. I also don’t know what happened to her after her encounter with Jesus, but I do believe that she went home that day and told the man that she was with to leave because someone else had stolen her heart. Many times we judge people by their behavior instead of really taking a look at why they act the way that they do. The Samaritan woman must have heard some really awful things about herself to go to the well at a time when she knew that no one else would be there. Perhaps she didn’t want to be bothered with people and their options or perhaps she wanted to use that time to be alone. Take Off the Old Rags and Put on the New Garment

Have you ever had a childhood item that you loved? That thing may be worn, dirty, and falling apart, but you hold on to it because of sentimental value such as the memories attached to it . That item could be anything. It could be cloths, a toy, or even a picture. In many of our lives the old sentimental thing that we hold on to is our sin. We attach unhealthy sentimental values it. Many of these sins originated in our childhood so we hold on to it and in most cases, hope that no one ever sees it. Not every sin is private, some people are wide open with their sins because it is socially acceptable to take part in such things, or they have stooped caring what other people think it. DON'T LEAVE JUST YET !

Do you know that some of us will leave God before we will leave a mate that lies to and cheats on us? Trust me, I‘ve been down that road and I’ve thought about going down it again, but I’m here to say to you don’t leave just yet. We give man so many chances to get it right, but we rarely allow God to shower us with the fullness of who he is. Your pain is for a season. Kairos:God’s Opportune Time Table

There are moments and seasons that are not defined by man or their opinions. In those moments “their” opinions don’t matter, your background does not matter, and your last name does not matter. Those moments are the ones that define your destiny and triumph over your past. Those seasons are the ones that you are born to walk in and nothing can steal them away from you. Do not allow another hour, minute or second go by that you have not allowed God to come into your heart and change your life. It is time out for the fake stuff yall! Ya, you go to church, but you also know that your heart isn’t right. A right heart yields to God and abhors evil. A right heart says Lord have your way with me. Know your Position!

The story of Joseph is so awesome. This morning God dealt with me about character advancement. In order for Joseph to get to the high place that God was placing him in, he had to learn a few things. He had to learn love, loyalty, faith, relationship, vision, and forgiveness. Joseph learned love from his brothers. Even though Joseph was a favorite, he experienced hate in his own house hold. I can just imagine the mean things that he heard his brothers say about him or the way that he felt when he was left out of things they were doing. Joseph had to learn how to love the ones that were closet to him in order to love other people. When you can love a family member that has hurt you, you can love anybody. Joseph needed that love so that he wouldn’t grow bitter in the 13 years that God had in him Egypt. He also needed that love in order to effectively serve the people that God was sending him to.
