Knowing Who You Are vs. Walking in Who You Are

Count yourself as blessed when God releases a word to you concerning who you are to Him. Don’t be so discouraged about the issues of life that you dismiss God when He is trying to encourage you. There are people at this very moment who know who they are in God and to Him, but they are refusing to walk in it. They are denying their purpose and they have grown comfortable in a life style and in a mindset that God is calling them out of.

How many people actually know that they are called to preach but they refuse to accept that call on their lives because of fear, their current lifestyle or because they flat out don’t want to do it. The thing that we neglect to understand when we deny the call that God places on our lives is that He has need of us and that there are other people who are attached to our call. God actually wants to use us to save and transform lives, but that begins with us submitting to Him and doing what He has asked us to do. Stop being so comfortable with sitting down when God is calling you to stand up.

There are people who God personally talks to, but they refuse to do what He tells them to. There are people who God has given instructions to, but they, through their disobedience, are telling Him no.

It is important to walk in who God says you are because He tells no lies concerning the things that He has released concerning you. There are some of you who God has personally spoken over but you refuse to put on the beauty of the words that He Himself has spoken over your life. When God makes a declaration, you might as well consider whatever He said to be a fact. God has no reason to lie to you so why do you refuse to believe whatever He has spoken over you and your life. God does not just speak to you; He speaks over you. Wear His words and His promises to you like a garment. You have received so many negative labels in your life, God wants you to put on something new and beautiful. Don’t just walk around with the wonderful knowledge of knowing who you, but also walk in who God says you are called to be in Him.

Through Christ is where you will find your true identity. It is not about your family, your friends, or even your spouse. You must know that you belong to God first before you belong to anyone else. Stop spending each day sad and depressed and rejoice in knowing that God knows you by name and that He has an ordained purpose that He has created just for you.

Remember this: God is not like man that he should lie (Number 23:19).

Do this: Walk in who God says you are!

Know this: God will confirm what He has spoken over you. Jeremiah was confirmed!

Lord I pray that you help me to see what it is that you see in me. I pray that you forgive me for thinking any less of myself than what you think of me and I pray that you show me how to walk in who you say I am. Thank you for loving me through the multitude of messes that I have made and I thank you for the process. I thank you for choosing me even in times when I have turned my back on you. Lord help me to submit to you in any way that you are calling me to. In Jesus mane I pray amen.

Worship until I pass out!

Stop questing God about what is taking him so long to bless you and stop comparing you’re “come up” to how the people of the world are operating. God reigns on the just as well as the unjust (Matthew 5:45). Your” hard time” is meant to glorify your father in heaven! Let them look down on you, let them talk about you because guess what, God has some C4 (dunamis power, dynamite) ready that he is about to release on your behalf. You will walk in your destiny, but it will be in God’s timing. God is going to use you in the position that he will himself create for you, but first he has to train you to perform well on the Job. You have to be led by the ultimate Shepard so that he can teach you to have the gentleness, kindness, love and patience that you will need to have for the place that he is sending you.
