Sometimes the hard part about serving God is that people you love and care about get left in the dust of your purpose. Sometimes you have to choose which one is more important to you; serving God or being in the same location that he found you in. You may move spiritually. You may get blessed along the way, but not everyone can actually move with you. This is a hard pill to swallow. Sometimes people that you love can be a hindrance to where God is taking you and what he is telling you. You have to be able to forsake everything for the price of Christ. Your destiny depends on your obedience. It’s hurtful, you may drag your feet, and they may question your motives, but what is the word of God saying to you. You have to be able to WALK into your destiny and into your anointing. Faith requires you to MOVE. You want so much from God, but you refuse to move. You get to a point in your walk where only you and him matter. We want to get everybody saved, but what about where God is trying to take us? Sometimes we have to take our hands off of a situation and off of our families in order for God to truly show himself. We have a bad habit of trying to “help” God when God is telling us to simply move out of his way.
You have to get in a place of trusting God when you have on
a blind fold. A blind fold does not have to be a bad thing. It can be scary,
but it does not have to be bad. The thing about blind folds is that light can
still seep through even though it is dark and we are not sure where we are
being led. We have to trust God to lead us in the right direction even though
we may bump into things and stumble along the way.
Life in Christ is about faith. We have to know that even
when God is moving us he will take care of those that he is separating us from.
The purpose of this separation is to bring you closer to him. At the end of the
day we have to have a relationship with God. We have to talk to him. We have to
listen to him. This goes for the people that we love also. They have to know
God for themselves.
Our walk does not have just one step. We have to keep on stepping
and know that God is desiring to take us higher in him. Each place will not be
the same and there will always be new things to learn. This journey that you
are now taking and will have to take is a journey of faith. Prayer is the gas
on this journey and without it, you will go empty. Don’t allow anything to
impact your prayer life in a negative manner.
As someone who loves God, you want everyone saved and to
know how awesome he is, but don’t neglect your walk. This is about you and him.
