True Story!

If you know me, you know that I work nights. On three occasions, God has allowed me to work three different nights, with three different women, who had three different testimonies. I am about to share one of the testimonies that I was blessed to hear....

True story: Do not take the position that you hold in life lightly. For the most part, I am accustomed to getting my way. I am not used to waiting for the things that I want or feel that I deserve. I am now in a waiting process and I understand what it is like to take my position in life for granted. I often even get resentful, but I meant a woman who changed my prospective on things. She told me ...about a janitor that worked at a hospital. The woman that I was talking to had a son that was the hospital for two weeks and while she was in there she had may conversations with a janitor. One day , the woman was talking to someone who was about to be released from the hospital. The other person told the woman about a janitor who had prayed for her and she was healed. The woman asked the other person who had prayed for her and their answer was a janitor. Now, the woman was amazed, she had talked to this janitor many times and did not pick up on the gift that the janitor had. She went looking for the janitor and asked the janitor to pray for her son. As the janitor prayed, the woman witnessed the janitor going into the spirit. The janitor swept ad prayed. When she janitor stopped, she looked at the woman and had a word from the Lord for her. The Janitor told the woman that her child was sick so that God could sit her down. God wanted her attention. One another occasion, the Janitor also spoke with the woman’s daughter. The janitor had no idea of what was going on in the relationship that the woman had with her daughter, but the Janitor told her daughter that her mom loved her and that she need to get her head off a boy that did not want her and back into her school books. The Janitor also told the daughter to stop showing her behind in clothes that she had no business wearing, the daughter had on sweats that day……This is just part of this woman testimony, but I have told you what you needed to know. Don’t take your position in life lightly. God has placed you there for a purpose. What your purpose is, I don’t know……… God wants to develop the gift that he placed on the inside of you. If you had everything that you wanted, would you really listen to him?

Worship until I pass out!

Stop questing God about what is taking him so long to bless you and stop comparing you’re “come up” to how the people of the world are operating. God reigns on the just as well as the unjust (Matthew 5:45). Your” hard time” is meant to glorify your father in heaven! Let them look down on you, let them talk about you because guess what, God has some C4 (dunamis power, dynamite) ready that he is about to release on your behalf. You will walk in your destiny, but it will be in God’s timing. God is going to use you in the position that he will himself create for you, but first he has to train you to perform well on the Job. You have to be led by the ultimate Shepard so that he can teach you to have the gentleness, kindness, love and patience that you will need to have for the place that he is sending you. The money and the things will come, but right now you need to know how to sit at your father’s feet and worship. You are not mature enough for all the blessings that God has lined up

I remember sitting on the bus in middle school and this guy who was older than me told someone that when I started having sex I wouldn’t be able to stop. I was always very quiet, but I thought to myself, how could someone who didn’t know me say such a thing? He was in a sense, speaking over me. I was kinda rebellious as a teen. Sex can be beautiful and pleasurable, but sex can also be very dangerous if you don’t know the truth behind it. As a young girl, no one sat down with me and talked to me about sex. People have a tendency of telling me that I am nice. Some people say that I am too nice and other people attempt to take advantage of my niceness and mistake it for weakness. The truth is that I am really not that that great, I just get convicted. I cannot treat people any way that I want to and receive the things that God has for me. Waiting for the Promise vs. Moving in Impatience

“Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? So many women define themselves by their relationship status. I used to be one of those women. It didn’t matter if that man cheated on me, lied to me, or insulted me; I was not going to leave him. Can you imagine doing the right thing and being locked up because of it? These men had a freedom that the people they encountered needed to see because they were not bound although others could visibly see the chains that had been placed on them.
