True Story!

If you know me, you know that I work nights. On three occasions, God has allowed me to work three different nights, with three different women, who had three different testimonies. I am about to share one of the testimonies that I was blessed to hear....

True story: Do not take the position that you hold in life lightly. For the most part, I am accustomed to getting my way. I am not used to waiting for the things that I want or feel that I deserve. I am now in a waiting process and I understand what it is like to take my position in life for granted. I often even get resentful, but I meant a woman who changed my prospective on things. She told me ...about a janitor that worked at a hospital. The woman that I was talking to had a son that was the hospital for two weeks and while she was in there she had may conversations with a janitor. One day , the woman was talking to someone who was about to be released from the hospital. The other person told the woman about a janitor who had prayed for her and she was healed. The woman asked the other person who had prayed for her and their answer was a janitor. Now, the woman was amazed, she had talked to this janitor many times and did not pick up on the gift that the janitor had. She went looking for the janitor and asked the janitor to pray for her son. As the janitor prayed, the woman witnessed the janitor going into the spirit. The janitor swept ad prayed. When she janitor stopped, she looked at the woman and had a word from the Lord for her. The Janitor told the woman that her child was sick so that God could sit her down. God wanted her attention. One another occasion, the Janitor also spoke with the woman’s daughter. The janitor had no idea of what was going on in the relationship that the woman had with her daughter, but the Janitor told her daughter that her mom loved her and that she need to get her head off a boy that did not want her and back into her school books. The Janitor also told the daughter to stop showing her behind in clothes that she had no business wearing, the daughter had on sweats that day……This is just part of this woman testimony, but I have told you what you needed to know. Don’t take your position in life lightly. God has placed you there for a purpose. What your purpose is, I don’t know……… God wants to develop the gift that he placed on the inside of you. If you had everything that you wanted, would you really listen to him?

The Process of Faithing It: Trusting Jesus with Your Faith

“Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction” (Mark 5:34 NKJV). Can you imagine Jesus in a crowd? Everyone has a need, but His target in that moment is to go and build the faith of a little girl’s family at the request of her father because they think that she will die. The father is scared, but Jesus was on the way until He felt something. This feeling was different, but powerful. Jesus turns around looking, asking questions, but finds his answer in the form of a woman, standing and looking amazed at what just happened to her. After 13 years of anemia, tiredness, dizzy spells, soiled clothing, and impacted relationships, she is healed. This woman with an issue of blood had spent all of her money, but decided to trust Jesus with her faith, which was all that she had left. Jesus was not too busy to stop and ask, “Who touched me?”. Fear Can Not Exist Where Healing is Needed: The Authority of Jesus within Mental Health

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” ( John 10:10 KJV). The people of Gadarenes gave the enemy access to their region, not just a man at a tomb. As a bystander within Mark 5, I’ve seen many parts of this scenario played out in real time. I know the broken heart that Jesus had at seeing this man, and I also know the love and compassion that He had for him as well. The people may have feared the man because of his strength, but Jesus understood and displayed that fear could not exist where healing is needed . Not only is there a war for your destiny, but YOU have to war for your destiny. Disadvantages and hardships came against Moses when he was a baby because of the size of his purpose. The level that the devil fights you gives an indication of the multitude that God wants to use you. God has placed such awesomeness on the inside of you that you don’t even know about. You are a threat to the devil’s kingdom. He wants you to not know who you really are. He wants you to believe that you are not special. Your destiny is why you go through so much. I met a young girl today that blowed me away with her talent. She could not only sing, but she could also play the piano. What impressed me most about this young girl is that she talked about grace. This let me know that she knew something about God. Where I work, I hear about God, but not his grace. Destined to be Pregnant!

I believe that pregnancy is such a beautiful adventure. I look at all of the pictures that people take at every stage of their pregnancy and it makes me ask the question, what if God allowed us to see our spiritual pregnancy? How would we act and would we take care of the baby that we are carrying? People go through different extremes to get pregnant, let alone carry a baby. How is God preparing you to carry the destiny that he has called you to fulfill? Many people have to lose weight, you might have to lose some friends. Is your baby worth the loss? Other people don’t even want to get pregnant because they don’t want to lose their shape. They care what the world thinks about them and they are comfortable with their current circumstance. Then you have people who want a baby so badly that they try to adopt the destiny that God has placed into another individual’s womb. Will You Marry Me?

I’m not obsessed, but I’ve been thinking about marriage a lot more lately. As a Christian, I’ve learned where I went wrong concerning my standards of dating before I knew Jesus. I have been looking at the profile pages of exes to see if, perhaps, I was missing something. I’m happy to report that I am not. I more so found myself thanking God for what He didn’t allow. Even though I’m thankful for every failed relationship, I find myself encountering the hurt that still remains as a result of my insecurities. There is so much that I have not let go of. Growing up I heard the word of God in a general sense. God loves us. We all know that God loves us right? He hears our prayers, He is a divine being, and we should go to church every Sunday. These beliefs are pretty general. I remember sitting in church and not really being penetrated by the word. I respected God. I believed in God, but I would not allow Him to have full access to me. People are watching you and trying to figure out how you are going to make it another moment.
