Through the Fire

“Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the burning fiery furnace; he declared, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out from the fire. And the satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king's counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had not had any power over the bodies of those men. The hair of their heads was not singed, their cloaks were not harmed, and no smell of fire had come upon them” (Daniel 3: 26-28 KJV).

The enemy starts a fire with the intent to keep you there, consume you, make you lose focus, and eventually take you out completely. God allows you to go through a fire with the intent of showing others His glory. Although the fire that you are dealing with in your life may be hot and although you may be faint and feel as if you are about to die; trust God and refuse to allow your enemies to make you perish. There is a blessing when you wait on God in the midst of the threat of sudden persecution.

Your enemies may be telling you to bend to their rules and way of thinking. but understand that God has appointed an angel that He is about to send to stand with you and escort you out unscathed. Have you ever heard the phrase, “you don’t look like what you have been through”? Speak that over your life. You will not look like the fire that the devil tried to kill you in!

It looks like you are alone and outnumbered but know that the devil will not win this fight. He cannot have you and ALL will see the Lord your God. The fire that people see you in will bear witness to who your God is and who you are to Him. Don’t be ashamed of who sees you going through hard times. Don’t be offended when those who do not serve God look like they are doing better than you, God is about to show them something!

The people of Babylon were amazed by the God of the three Hebrew boys. Their situation was used to make others respect God and His authority. Some people don’t respect God’s authority over your life or over their own lives. They have heard about Him, but they really don’t take Him seriously. God is about to show out on your behalf to make a point to your enemies. Keep standing and have faith that whatever fire you are going through will not and cannot consume you.

The men who escorted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the furnace died because the fire was to hot for them. Sometimes the very people coming against you can’t take the fire that they try to put you in. The men who bound the Hebrew boys were an accessory to the devil’s attack against those that God loved. People associated with your enemy will not last either!

When God is for you, everything in your path that tries to get in the way of what God is doing in your life will be destroyed. The thing that people have to understand is that when a person is on assignment by God, others cannot fight against that person because they are then fighting against God Himself. Those people are interfering with kingdom business and it will not end well for them.

Thank God for your deliverance now! Salvation is at your door and in Jesus name, you will not miss it. God knows what’s going on in your life. He sees that people that have hurt you, denied you, lied on you, and left you when you needed them to speak on your behalf. God knows your struggle, but He also knows where your struggle can advance you to if you remain faithful and consistent in the face of adversity.

Lord, I pray to be a person of integrity. I pray to be unwavering concerning my love for you and I pray against any shame associated with my struggle. Lord I thank you for standing with me in every furnace that I have had to stand in and I thank you for not allowing it to consume me. Lord, I will remember the victories that you have won on my half and I will trust you for the victories that await me in the future. I thank you for miracles, sines, and wonders concerning the personal trials that I face, and I thank you that the joy of the Lord is my strength. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

According to your faith, be it unto you (Matthew 9:29).

You are on your way to purpose and destiny child of God. Do not fret because of where you are right now; God is using everything that you are going through for what he has called you to do. After the resurrection of Jesus Christ, he made three appearances to His disciples. One of them was at the Sea of Galilee. Simon Peter wanted to go fishing and the other disciples said that they would join him. That night they caught nothing, but upon day break they saw a man standing on the sea shore, but had no idea that it was the Lord. Take Off the Old Rags and Put on the New Garment

Have you ever had a childhood item that you loved? That thing may be worn, dirty, and falling apart, but you hold on to it because of sentimental value such as the memories attached to it . That item could be anything. It could be cloths, a toy, or even a picture. In many of our lives the old sentimental thing that we hold on to is our sin. We attach unhealthy sentimental values it. Many of these sins originated in our childhood so we hold on to it and in most cases, hope that no one ever sees it. Not every sin is private, some people are wide open with their sins because it is socially acceptable to take part in such things, or they have stooped caring what other people think it. Like those childhood items, we may tuck our sins away and bring them out in secret. In some cases, we even form unions with people who are holding on to the same item (sin) that we are holding on to. Do you know that some of us will leave God before we will leave a mate that lies to and cheats on us? Trust me, I‘ve been down that road and I’ve thought about going down it again, but I’m here to say to you don’t leave just yet. We give man so many chances to get it right, but we rarely allow God to shower us with the fullness of who he is. Your pain is for a season. In life we go through droughts, but God will never allow you to go dry and thirsty in the desert storms of life. Hang on to God’s every word in this season. HE TOOK ME BACK!!!!!!!

How many of you would take their lover back after they cheated on you for two years? How many of you would stay with that same lover after you took them back and they had a side piece? God took me back. I was caught in a cycle. I would date someone for a few years, go back to God and then leave God to date someone else. That’s pretty messed up, but he took me back. Before one of my exes, I had this ring. Before I even knew what a promise ring was, I wore it and said that I was married to God. I cheated on him and then left him. Guess what, I lost my ring. Allow God to Make You Great: Perfecting Imperfections

Sometimes the grace that covers your life is the call that God has placed on it. He has invested too much into you to allow you to die in your sin. We are like a treasure chest to God. Some people may look at us and think that we are worthless, but the value of who God says we are is locked up on the inside of us awaiting the season to be revealed. None of us know who we are until God speaks. We don’t know our purpose or even why we look the way that we do. God is strategic and protective. He can’t reveal the totality of the plan that he has for your life because you may try to either abort your mission or go on a voyage that He has not called you to go on. The grace of God is that he can turn our mistakes into blessings and He can use our season of disobedience as teachable points to warn others about what not to do.
